i am installing a renogy 400w solar on a 1999 newmar dutch star: It is equipped with a 4K watt generator, on a 30 amp shore power, I would like to install a 2000 or a 3000 watt pure sine inverter tru a transfer switch 30 amp. via my solar system
the power converter is a IOTA DLS 30 series power converter/charger
How do i nullify the charger ( to prevent discharge and charge) and maintain my dc system for lights?????
+ as a note the present converter is causing low dc power outage on shore power unless u additional turn on battery use.
I would like to use the solar system and intergrate the solar system for boondocking and intergreat the three power systems.
The documentation i have shows a todd TS 30 Power switch
a Iota dls power converter/charger 30 amp
a onan 4K generator
Can one get a 30amp converter without the charger? and install a battery charger that can be switched of ?
