I would like to get a ball park estimate of the repair to a Todd PS-250 transfer switch. The upper contact -(power cord conn.) will not engage.
The lower contact - (gen set conn.) works fine.
I have switched the power cord to the gen set conn and it is currently working. The decision buy a new $200 replacement or send the old one in for repair depends on the cost & time required for repairl
Another question - when the transfer switch failed several appliances and one AC unit were apparently damaged. Could or would the switch cause damage to them?
