I have a Model PS245L power switch (automatic transfer switch) in my 2000 Country Coach motor home. I am plugged into 50 amp and the transfer switch appears to be causing the surge guard to cut off and when it comes on again after two minutes to cut back off. When the power does stay on, if I plug in the microwave and even just push the clear button, the surge guard will cut off. Some times I can run the microwave, but if we start the vacuum cleaner, the surge guard cuts off again.
I am able to run the microwave and vacuum cleaner at the same time if I am running the generator. Running the generator appears to reset the power switch and the 50 amp power will run everything fine for awhile.
An electrician check the power coming from the outside power outlet, to and out of the inverter, and to the transfer switch as well as the grounds.
