#Rittenhouse
I am attempting to repair a Rittenhouse Model M7050 intercom system for a friend, but I suspect that someone has replaced the SYSTEM Volume and ON/OFF control with the wrong size control. The POWER switch is bad and the VOLUME control is a 150 ohm, 2 or 5 watt wire wound Clarostat unit. I'm not sure but that seems to be a good bit too small. It is the control on the main intercom unit, not the audio-radio chassis. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
I'm retired from BellSouth and used to work for Western Electric in Winston-Salem as an electrical engineer. Now I restore antique radios and 1970's stereo equipment in my basement to keep me out of trouble!
