I have a Freedom Combi 2000 P/N 81-2022-12 Inverter/charger in my motorcoach that quit working. The inverter light and the charger light will come on steady on the front panel but will not charge, I will read battery voltage on the front connectors 12.4VDC. As the batteries run down this vaoltage will drop. I also tried the inverter function and there is no AC output.
If I disconnect the AC input it seems like it wants to charge for about 1/2 a second an then nothing. I have good AC voltage coming to the unit weither I am connected to shore power or the genertor. I have had this unit in my motorcoach for 10 years and it has always worked perfectly so I know it has been connected correctly. I am also runnung the remote control head on this unit. I have removed the unit from the motorcoach and do not see any thing amiss inside of the unit.
Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I can reconnect the unit if necessary and perform any voltage or other tests you might deem to be needed.
