Hi, I have an HSD DPL 150 that drives the spindle on our Onsrud router and we have an issue where it seems to lose communication with the spindle over the course of a long job, resulting in the VFD displaying "COnn" as the error. Rebooting the whole machine restores the connection and it's usable again, but this gets old after a while. Onsrud tells us that eventually it will fail completely and they recommend replacing with a different unit, but I was wondering 1) what's actually wrong that leads to this and 2) if it can be repaired.
Some Google searching on this issue led me to your site, where it seems you do repairs on this exact model, so I'd be curious to hear your perspective on this issue. If it is repairable, what would be the cost?
