I had a mouse problem chewing on the wires. I replaced all chewed wires. I (purchase 2 used monitors) on eBay and tested them. #1 - model 760 and #2 - model 852.
Both of them: the (-) button is not functioning when pressed. The fault light indicates #6 on the meter which suggest a bad wire / cable. When the monitor is first powered on (all the lights flash) as they should. I was able to press the (+) adjustment and it functioned as it should, but the (-) button will not light up or work as it should. I would like to send these monitors in to have tested or repaired as long as the cost is reasonable. There are a few testing facilities I found online for these units. can you give me a cost of testing them?
I have one more monitor #3 model 760 in like new condition that I (purchased used). When I tested it, the monitor flashed all lights and then went straight to the fault setting and no functions worked at all. The other 2 monitors I was at least able to put in calibrate mode / "0" / and operate the firing point sequence but not able to work the (-) button.
Please advise.
Thank you
Eric
