Have a John Lyons # JL50B Electric fense Controller. When I hook it up the light blinks strong then dies after a few seconds... Very little power coming out of the unit. The 2 circuit Boards inside have American Farmworks Model # 0123-92 and the other 0121-92. I am thinking the transformer is bad, but I just guessing.

Ho do I determine if it is just the transformer.
